As a student therapist, Nick works with people experiencing depression, anxiety and trauma. He has extensive training in both queer competency (QCT) and suicidality (safeTALK).

Nick Morris, MA Candidate | Practicum Student

With over four years working in the field of mental health, Nick is excited to join Juniper for his practicum portion of his degree. He is both compassionate and freshingly honest with clients. He believes that people have a natural drive towards self-realization; anxiety and depression are just useful tools guiding us towards a more authentic way of being in the world. Nick looks forward to meeting new clients and using his skills to offer afforable counselling options in the community.

Nick has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Victoria and is currently completing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Adler University. He has already worked with a diverse range of individuals in his career. He has also received extensive training in both queer competency (QCT) and suicidality (safeTALK). Nick is professional and approachable resulting in an environment of warmth, safety and trust.
